Peanut Blossoms

½ cup peanut butter

½ cup shortening

½ cup granulated sugar

½ cup packed brown sugar

2 tablespoons milk

1 egg

1 ¾ cup flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 tablespoon vanilla

Mix wet ingredients, and then add dry ingredients (it will be thick).  Roll into small balls and then roll each ball in sugar and place on cookie sheet.  Bake at 350 degrees about 10 to 12 minutes or until brown .  When they come out, have your Hershey's kisses unwrapped and stick one into each ball before they cool.
