Joy's Chocolate Pecan Pie

 

3 eggs

1 cup of sugar

1 cup of corn syrup

1 teaspoon of vanilla

1 tablespoon of melted butter

 

Beat the eggs, then add remaining ingredients and stir until mixed.

 

In 9-inch pie crust, layer a cup of pecans and ½ cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips.  Pour the mixture over the top.

 

Preheat oven to 450 degrees, then put the pie in and reduce the heat to 350 degrees.  Bake for 50-60 minutes.
