bars
½ cup butter (soften)
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1½ cups of mashed ripe banana (~3 medium)
1-teaspoon vanilla
2 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon of baking soda
pinch of salt
½ cup butter (soften)
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese (soften)
4 cups of power sugar
2 teaspoons of vanilla
In a mixing bowl cream the butter and sugar; beat in the eggs, banana and vanilla.
Combine the flour, baking soda and salt in separate bowl.
Slowly add the flour mixture to the cream mixture and stir well
Pour into a greased 15” x 10” x 1” baking pan. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes or until a tooth pick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let the bars cool (until the pan is cool on the bottom)
Cream butter and cream cheese in a mixing bowl; gradually add the sugar and vanilla and beat well. Spread it over the bar. Cut into bars (~36)
